Delabole Parish Council

Welcome to the official website of Delabole Parish Council

Delabole is a large village in north Cornwall which lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The village originally had three hamlets: Pengelly, Medrose and Rockhead, and they were absorbed into Delabole in the early 20th Century.

Delabole Parish Council was formed on April 1, 2021 as a result of a review of governance. The parish was formerly a ward of St Teath Parish Council.

The parish council meets monthly and shares the location of its meeting between St John's Church, High Street, the Methodist Church, Medrose Street and Delabole Fire Station.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at St John's Church. All are welcome to attend.

** There is currently one vacancy on the parish council. The council is now in a position to co-opt a new councillor. Please contact the clerk at clerk@delaboleparishcouncil.gov.uk for more details.**
