Welcome to the official Delabole Parish Council website

Delabole is a large village in north Cornwall which lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) . The village originally three hamlets: Pengelly, Medrose and Rockhead were absorbed into Delabole in the early 20th Century. 

Delabole Parish Council was formed on the 1st April 2021 as a result of a review of governance. The parish was formally a ward of St Teath Parish Council.


The Parish Council meets monthly and shares the location of its meeting between St John's Church, High Street, Delabole and Methodist Church, Medrose Street, Delabole.  Below are the planned meetings for the year 2021/2022:


June 8th 2021 - Location: St John's Church, Delabole

July 13th 2021 - Location: St John's Church, Delabole

August 10th 2021 (summer) - Location: Methodist Church

September 14th 2021 - Location: St John's Church, Delabole

October 12th 2021 - Location: Methodist Church

November 9th 2021 - Location: St John's Church, Delabole

December 14th 2021 - Location: Methodist Church

January 11th 2022 - Location: St John's Church, Delabole

February 8th 2022 - Location: Methodist Church

March 8th 2022 - Location: St John's Church, Delabole

April 12th 2022  - Location: Methodist Church
