Welcome to the official website for Delabole Parish Council
Delabole is a large village in north Cornwall which lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The village originally had three hamlets: Pengelly, Medrose and Rockhead, and they were absorbed into Delabole in the early 20th Century.
Delabole Parish Council was formed on April 1, 2021 as a result of a review of governance. The parish was formerly a ward of St Teath Parish Council.
The parish council meets monthly and shares the location of its meeting between St John's Church, High Street, Delabole and Methodist Church, Medrose Street, Delabole. Below are the upcoming meetings for the year 2022/23:
June 14th, 2022 - Location: St John's Church, Delabole
The council will not meet in July and August.
September 13th - Location: Methodist Church, Delabole
October 11th - Location: St John's Church, Delabole
NEWS: The Camelford Area Network has been selected to take part in a 20mph roll-out. This includes Delabole. Research provides a case for introducing 20mph limits, and there is a strong link between traffic speed and the number of collisions and severity of injuries.
